T free BUSES:

Walberswick residents and their guests only:
Norwich bus - every third Thursday in the month. Picks up at 8.45am from the Church bus stop, the Tuck Shop and the Village Hall bus stop. Leaves Norwich at 1.30pm. This service is free to Walberswick residents and their guests only.  Contact Mandy Erlenbach on 07 590 697 575

Halesworth bus - every 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Leaves 10am picking up from Anchor, Tuck Shop and Church. Leaves Halesworth 11.45am

Lowestoft bus - every first Wednesday in the month. Leaves 10am picking up from usual places. Returns to Walberswick by 1pm.

CATS moving the community: Fares are subsided by Suffolk County Council. Wanting to visit friends in the neighbouring towns and villages but don’t drive anymore? Don’t want to ask for a lift? Connecting Communities bus can take you! Catching the train at Darsham but don’t want to ask for a lift again, The Bus can take you! Cats provides the Connecting Communities bus from door to destination for people with mobility issues. Bookings need to be made in advance, whether a day or two weeks, phone 01728 830516.

Dentists: Halesworth and Bungay.    Southwold Dental Practice

Doctor's surgery. Sole Bay Health Centre, Teal Close, Reydon, (near The Randolph Hotel) The Wednesday clinic in the Village Hall no longer takes place.

Ferry times for 2026 The ferry does not operate during the winter months.

Library Suffolk Libraries website The Mobile Library visits every four weeks 2.20pm to 2.50pm in the Village Hall car park.. See Mobile Library in the Diary for the next date.

Post Office: The Mobile Post Office van is in Walberswick Village Hall car park each Wednesday from 12noon to 1PM. The mobile van also has a tail lift which can be deployed for any wheelchair users.

Refuse collections have changed to early Tuesday mornings. There are 5 bins.

The food caddy is collected every week

All other bins are on a 3 week rotation
