Policy 22 -- Protecting and Maintaining Public Rights of Way and Access to the Countryside

 

Purpose:  To ensure that PRoWs and access to the countryside are not lost given their essential role in preserving the character and economy of Walberswick. 

 

Policy:  Development proposals should not encroach on, negatively impact or detrimentally affect views from Public Rights of Way footpaths and bridle ways, but positively protect and, where appropriate, take the opportunity to enhance them.
