Policy 25 -- Water Resource Management

 

Purpose:   To contribute to wider national objectives

 

Policy:   Proposals for development should encourage a proactive approach to management of water resources that takes account of expected changes in water supply and demand and also ensures a responsible approach to wastewater treatment and disposal.

Such measures could include:

  • Rainwater or grey water harvesting
  • Acting in advance of changes to the Building Regulations
