We are the Blyth Valley Rotary Club https://blythvalleyrotary.co.uk/about-us/

We meet most Thursdays at the Sole Bay Bowls Club at Halesworth Road, Reydon,  and sometimes at the Angel at Halesworth.

We are an active club made up of women and men of all ages and from all backgrounds. You will probably know about Rotary International as a non-profit organisation   https://www.rotary.org/

Our small friendly Club (just 20 active members) managed to raise a staggering £22,000 over the past year. This was achieved through running our own events (Christmas Day Swim, Starlight Walk, Women Who Inspire at Halesworth Golf Club, Brass on the Grass, etc) and by helping other organisations stage events such as Henham Steam Rally  Reydon Christmas Lights, Wrentham Community events etc).

All our hard work is soon put to one side as we then donate the funds raised to some great causes making a real difference. We were particularly pleased to help The East Anglian Air Ambulance, RNLI, and the Southwold Klondyke Skate Park project. Our Advent Calendar also saw us make donations of over £5000 to many local charities.

We also funded some overseas projects, and following the devastating earthquakes in Turkey/Syria, we bought two amazing shelter boxes which contain large tents, beds, and equipment for those who are suffering extreme hardship.
See our website (blythvalleyrotary.co.uk ) to discover more about who we are and what we do.

We need volunteers and members to help us, to help in the community. We are always open to working with other charities and communities.
