WALBERSWICK PARISH COUNCIL NOTICE
A Public Interest Report (PIR) was issued to Walberswick Parish Council on 30th September, following the failure of the Council to prepare an annual return about its finances and governance for the year ended 31st March 2015. This PIR will be discussed at a public extra-ordinary meeting of the council on Monday 22nd August. The meeting will be held at Walberswick Village Hall Annex and will commence at 7.15. All are welcome. A copy of the Public Interest Report is on the parish website http://walberswick.onesuffolk.net

On Friday 26th August 2016, the following notice regarding the Public Interest Report appeared in the East Anglian Daily Times.
WALBERSWICK PARISH COUNCIL NOTICE
At a meeting on 22nd August 2016 which commenced at 7.15, Walberswick Parish Council discussed the Public Interest Report issued by the external auditor BDO in September 2015, for failure to submit accounts for the year 2014/15.
It was unanimously agreed by the members to accept the recommendations of BDO and to submit an action plan which will be used to ensure that the accounts are submitted on time in the future.
